The jets CANNOT under any circumstances let Kyle Connor go to free agency. Personally I think starting the season without him extended would be very stupid.
Letting Ehlers walk on hopes and dreams was gullible. Letting Connor walk as well for similar reasons is not competent. We wouldn't have had the Manitoba Miracle without Ehlers, so that moment may justify keeping him when they knew he didn't fit anymore.
But in hindsight even that wasn't worth it. Ehlers and Connor might be the teams babies but they also act like babies. Don't bank on resigning him, and don't hold onto him till he's worth nothing.
