Fabian Lysell est-il en mouvement? | Korpi vs Dipietro

1. Many times, the B's move on from potential young players, because they "don't fit in" to the role the coaches envision. Voitrano is only ONE example. I honestly don't know why they draft skill scorers. They want players to be defense first, and that's not a common thing. They tend to move on from players that aren't.

  2. Great post. I want to see Lysol Poitras and Merk play. Sweeny needs to announce the kids are gonna play, take the pressure off the new coach. And let's us see half a season worth. Confidence is everything, thinking if you make one mistake you're back to Providence isn't allowing the kids time to grow into a role. Effort is different than making a mistake. I can live with a loss if there is effort but making mistakes. Lorie mad some awful mistakes but he is rounding out in a good D man with another season under his belt. And I'm going with DiPietro. Korpisalo goes on waivers for me. Live with the consequences and save the cash.

  3. Fysiel deserves a shot , dipietro can't hit waivers why he will get claimed. Look at bussi he had a worse year with baby bs. Look at Florida Panthers there roster many former players, now gave bussi a contract. I think dipietro deserves a shot at backup. Rather see kopo go, …

  4. Could you put Kropisalo on waivers first (hope somebody takes him) and if he clears put Dipeiteo on waiver and if he gets claimed then the decision is made for you but if they both clear decide who stays and who goes down.

  5. If we can get Beryozkin’s rights and a 4th round pick (or higher obviously) I would do it in a heartbeat

  6. I wouldnt trade him how at all. Has he got a chance? No. It¨s about what is always about, chance and confidence. He hasnt got a time n space to show him up. I will always remember his briliant assist to Marats goal against Devils, the spped, effort, dynamic and patience, just amazing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IT_H7weDwxA

  7. Put Korp on waivers now just eat the $$ loss. Use the younger talent. As a life long bruins fan I’m so sick of the Bruins style of play

  8. I would prefer to give DiPietro the backup role since it's not like the team is "all in" this year, and it would save some money on the cap if Korpi was buried. However, how many times has the Jacobs family allowed the GM to bury millions of dollars? From a business perspective, seems like a poor choice – I could only see them giving the green light if it helped the teams' chances at winning it all this year. Whoever the backup goalie is, I don't think it makes enough of an impact to burn $3M.

  9. Honestly, if the Bruins keep him but don't give him a real chance – as you well mentioned – respecting his potential in a top 6 role, it's better to trade him. This culture of not putting prospects in position to succeed (in bottom 6 roles) is really dull, and giving up on them early (hey Jumbo Joe!) leaves us fans hopeless for better days to come sooner than later. If ownership/management don't change their mindset regarding this, only a miracle or two to steer us away from a Buffalo Sabres/Philly Flyers like crisis. I curse management/ownership every time Poitras was sent down to the bottom 6 in order to teach him don't know what. The worst part is, we don't expect to see Lysell, Poitras, Zellers etc being challenged with top roles responsibilities. So so sad. Cheers!

  10. Pasta has 32 points in 28 ahl games. Good but less than you say in your video – also not a crazy leap from Lysell's numbers

  11. Sometimes where there is smoke there is fire.
Heard awhile ago Bruins were not happy with his off seasons. Complete contrast with guys like Poitras and Minten who have been consistently working their Canadian asses off to make the pro rosters.

  12. Right now we need the kid to get playtime . See what he’s got then when it counts . Put some weight on and give his talent on his lines .

  13. Watching this kid at times you see the speed and the skill set, but he just seems like he has been snakebitten converting until he finally got his first goal late last season.

I think you trade him if the price is right, but if it’s not, and there’s any doubts, I think you need to keep him and give him a shot. Maybe on the second line right wing and see how it goes. They’ve never really given this kid an extended look, and that would be the best case scenario before you cut ties with him in my opinion

  14. Bruins suck at drafting and suck at development. Does Sweeney have any mirrors in his house? If so, that's where he can look for where the B's problems originate. Trying to turn a sniper into a "200 foot player" as usual. If they do trade Lysell to the Oil, it's Beau Akey or no deal.
Regarding DiPietro, if they let him go it'll be a decision that haunts them for years. Sweeney would rather go with the known quantity shitty goalie Korpi.

  15. I am sorry, Lysell has torn up the AHL with 11 goals last year in AHL, career high in AHL, 15 goals, that’s AHL not NHL…NOT NHL, there he plays PP as well…I hoped for better but he would be great in europe but he ain’t an NHL player.

  16. I really don’t understand this ‘elite offensive talent’ talk, apart from his un impactful AHL stats…he scored 22 goals for Vancouver in the WHL and his stats for Sweden are unremarkable….the talk and hope is not backed up statistically nor historically…wish it wasn’t so but time to start focusing on other Bruins in the system….

  17. you could call me a fair weather fan lol, the drama of it all doesn't work unless they drag me in somehow. Watching this? ooofff. I don't gamble 0 skin in the game and sow now I just think I shouldnt care so much? waiting until the fall. oof
