Not an original comment as I have heard it elsewhere, but the Finals are going to start sooner than later since Carolina have already booked their tee times and Dallas appears to have their schedule wide open next week. Barring divine intervention, it looks like the finals is Oilers .vs Panthers. Even with McJesus, it's tough to bet against the Panthers right now. They don't really have any superstars per se, but they do have a bunch of very talented heavy hitters.

As a long time canes fan I adore Rod but this incessant need to get all 5 skaters in the o-zone in order to shoot the puck once kills us. Stank and Blake are the two that will stick handle and shoot on the rush. The only time we retain puck possession on a rush is ironically PKs and low and behold-it actually works sometimes. Then we get our 5th skater on the ice and can’t WAIT to get the puck off our blades and just push it on their end of the rink! Every time! This is why the league says we’re boring-bc it FUCKING IS! It’s only fine to us caniacs when it’s working. As a an ex-hockey player who knows 1% that an nhl player knows it’s frustrating af to watch them come out every period with the exact same strategy that is failing us. 0-16 baby!!!! What a bunch of record breakers!

After tonights game , as evident as it is that Carolina will most likely be sweeped ,not only did they break their losing streak in the eastern conference they also ,as a team had huge heart this game,man props to both teams, what a game.
