I think this year they will show great improvement and be in the mix for the first few months but fall short forwards the middle to end of the season

The Ducks had overall more players than any team that preformed well against the Oilers and that was with multiple games at the back end of the season. Don’t sleep on the Ducks against good teams it’s the teams that are near them in the standings that kill them
Think so much of it comes down to what Joel Q can get out of young guys going! Over also!
Ducks will come 6th or 7th in the division. Shedding Zegras will help them for sure though. Dude is a plug.

One of my favorite moments of the year…the SDPN reviews !! About the Ducks, I don't know if it's because the division is weakest right now, but all summer it felt like they were already in the playoff…1. Slow down, we don't know if Joel will bring good chemistry to that group. 2. Yes they added good veterans but that team feels more like Montréal 2 years ago, like the second phase of rebuilding, playoff might be possible but not the goal. 3. Sign him or trade him to Montréal but will you please do something with MacTavish !!! I'm tired of the rumors and yes Montréal would be perfect for him, but it's tiresome…. Anaheim 5, wildcard is prediction, rebuilding going well !

I think the pacific will be too difficult for the ducks to make the playoffs. They are better than San Jose and Seattle but they are going to have to jump at least one but likely two of the other teams and that will be difficult. I think their start will be crucial as I could see the doldrums set in if they start slow.
Ever since they went back to the good logo, things have been looking up.

Old forwards and young forwards and no one in their prime. This team will be good in a couple of years but finish 7th in the pacific this year.

Kreider got a big oh yeah from me
With the addition of Kreider and Poehling as well as some of our younger guys continuing to fill out, almost every player on our roster this season is coming in over 200 lbs. The only players under (still 190s) are Strome, Terry, Granlund, and Zellweger.
