If Matthews doesn’t step up come April. Do not renew, offer McD max years at 20m. Dump Domi, Rielly, trade Matthews prior to contract ending, build for future around Quillan, Cowan, Knies, the Russian goalie, Nylander, and whoever else they bring in. Love to see a stud defenceman who plays like Ekblad and a dman who can put up 75-90 pts a year.
