Great leader for sure but not a young guy anymore. As long as the team makes room for a steady progression for the young guys this will be a good extension. Just don't want to see the "veteran block" we saw with Darryl.

Im fine with this deal as long as next season Backlund centers our 4th line!! Having him as our captain and a 4th line center would be huge for us let the young ones get more time
