Oilers won't make the playoffs, outside of Mctrash and DryTrash they have a mid-tier AHL team.

Skinner came into last season un prepared. He has dropped 10 pounds this year, he is motivated

That the Oilers, even with all their flaws, have qualified for consecutive Stanley Cup finals is absolutely remarkable. That said, I do predict that at some point during this coming season or either the next two they will fall short of a Stanley Cup final. The Golden Knights after all remain a good team in the same division as those Oilers.
I expect Tomasek to absolute steal for 1.2M. That guy was easily the best center in Europe for the past 2 seasons, got totally overlooked by NHL teams, and now I think Oilers will have a solid 3rd center in him.

The Edmonton Oilers or the definition of insanity, which is doing the same thing and expecting a different result…We know the problem with the team, we saw the problem with the team and I bet the management group knows it too…and yet they didn't solve the unstable goalie problem this summer ?!? You know there are other goalie than Carter Hart right ? I know goalie are weird and their development is peculiar, but I'd their stat and development team are betting on Skinner stabilizing?!? Cause if it's the bet, it's very risky…they might lose McDavid over it ! For the season, top of division…playoff, it would be insane to see them again vs Florida ! Crazy season coming !!!
