I'm fairly certain that Ty had the good sense not to physically challenge the organization's corner stone player, if for no other reason than in the name of preserving his own career trajectory.
In the moment that he gets dumped to the ice, he might have been playing something resembling "client golf"
There was that video with Tocchet & MM on 1-1 pass-shoot drills and Tocc looked liked he was talking the whole time during those few minutes so that leads me to gather MM can understand most hockey speak very proficiently which shows his work with English in just 1 calendar year…And also the fact that he stood out at the end with the exercise drills shows me this kid is determined as ever to do what it takes to WIN!!!
