5 Mio for Eckholm? As you told, he was probably the best defender in the tram since he became a oiler. How much money is Bouchard making? Walman should get 6,5 mio? And the best defense player only 4-5 mio? Every neutral view on the things should see the mistake… The best one should get the most.
Skinner is cooked we need a legit starter (even league average would be better than Skinner)
I also think Goaltending could be a major hangup on Mcdavid signing, He wants to be on a cup contender and Skinner has never put up a league average sv% in the playoffs.
Since the Jack Campbell fiasco, the oilers are gun shy of goalies and rightly so. They can be a real fly in the soup or vice versa. Who ever won Stanley with out an outstanding goalie, not many, if any.
