Offensively Maccelli looked fine but overall he seemed too soft. We will see how “berube effect” helps here. Danford looks good on this team. Cowan definitely will start in the marlies

I’ve had the privilege of watching a lot of Cowan last season on the knights and he is definitely still in memorial cup mode 😂

I thought that both Cowan and Haymes both looked really good. Better than Robertson. I understand Robertson has a shot. But he's just not physically capable. And he skates around with a smile on all the time. I just don't like that. Takes a dumb shot from the boards. Goalie catches it easily. The camera pans to him, and he has a big dumb grin on his face. I just don't like to see it. We need to find him a new home. Try to get vakue but just get as much as you can, package him and move on. He's never going to be a top 6 player on a good team. Ever.
Joshua looked very slow. He better get a foot in his ass. I know we trade for him in the playoffs. But we need 20G's out of him in the regular season too.
Bringing Cowan in give you extra pieces for a trade
Conwan isn’t as electric as everyone is sayings however he definitely working hard doesn’t seems becoming a top six player in NHL

It's only game 1 in the pre-season for Cowan and Macelli, But they certainly stuck out and deserve to stay through out the pre-season games
Laughton needs to pick it up, he really was not very good after the Leafs aquired him for help in the playoffs last year, i think he needs to show something more in training camp and preseason. Tre cant have Berube keep him in the line up just to justify having traded for him if he cant "pull his weight" in games. Laughton needs to show he belongs on the team.
If Cowan is going to face wash guys, the team better have his back.

If the leafs trade Kampf and a center has an injury, the leafs are in big trouble. Robertson is the 13th forward and plays when anyone has struggled for a few games.
