A very interesting subject I never thought about. I was trying to figure out the time zone thing…and drew a blank.
3:17 Imagine having at Super Bowl party at 8am (local time) while the game is being played in London 🤣
Pssst. Tell you a non-secret. Nobody gives a crap about American football–outside the USA.
I doubt Londonistan wants a Super Bowl.
great dive brother
Mexico City is not happening because of the altitude
Super Bowl in Europe is NOT gonna happen. Just like having the European Champions League in the US NOT gonna happen
Before doing a Super Bowl-Game outside USA, why not doing the ProBowl outsode USA?
I can only really see this happening if London gets attached to one specific team (Maybe if Khan is able to market the Jags in England or something since he owns a soccer team over there) and that team makes it to the Super Bowl.
I can't really see London getting its own NFL team just because I'd imagine transport would be a nightmare.
There are what, 14 NFL cities that haven't hosted a Super Bowl, and we're talking about one in London???… 🙄…BTW, I was stationed in Guam in 1985. The Super Bowl that year was played at Stanford (the 49ers and Dolphins). Kickoff was a little after 3pm Pacific on a Sunday. We were watching the game at 7am on Monday morning. Guam is +17 from San Francisco. Oddly enough the time differential is pretty much the same but in reverse for Europe. Except that it's Americans getting up at o'dark thirty to watch 'em…Makes perfect sense… 😒…(That's two time difference calculations in the comments in one day, Brodie! Knock it off!)…
London is not doing well with arrests for free speech and islamics stabbing people in the streets with no jail time.
So if they host a game in London will the players have to bow to the east before the game as London is basically an Islamic caliphate now .
The other nfl cities deserve to host a superbowl before any outside of US even if its in the snow
No. I see too much resistance for a London Super Bowl. Time zone chaos, sponsor dissonance, and infrastructure gaps make it a high-risk proposition. There are NFL fans over there as well, but it would be too much stress for them. It just has one too many disadvantages.
Since there are two weeks after the conference championship games, an international venue is very realistic
This will only happen after the NFL moves to an 18 game schedule, and the SuperBowl gets pushed to Presidents Day weekend.
I think we’d see a Green Bay Super Bowl first… ❄️ ⛄️ 😂
One day there will be a Super Bowl overseas (London, England 🇬🇧 🏴)
And…..
One day there will be a Super Bowl Monday
I think there’s a good chance that the Super Bowl gets played in London in the next 3 years. If the trump continues to threaten politicizing the Super Bowl, the easiest way to unpoliticize it is to move it out of the US. We’ll know by this Super Bowl how that plays out
Yeah sure, let's host the biggest sporting event in the U.S. overseas. Hell, why stop there? How about a Fourth of July parade in Tehran? A Stanley Cup final in Uruguay? For those not paying attention, Great Britain is teetering on the brink. The government is becoming so disconnected with it's native-born citizens that it is more likely a civil war of some type breaks out there in the next 10-20 years than a flippin Super Bowl. Goodell seems to be oblivious to all of this as he pushes through on his crusade to globalize the game but political realities are just that and sooner or later reality will catch up with that joker. Besides, have you ever been to London in February Brodie? The weather in that country sucks in August, forget how cold and damp it is in the winter. I think this is where the corporate masters in the U.S. will exercise their veto power and say nyet to this we are the world moment. But hey, as crazy as things have gotten over the past ten years? Never say never I suppose. I'm just not sure the U.S, national anthem will go over very well with the Muslim government. But that's me.
Not gonna happen. Besides, no one wants to root for the London Sillynannies.
You really need to pay more attention to things than sports. You think Portland, Oregon could get an MLB team and now this. Portland is a disaster of a city. Antifa runs that place. And now the whole UK is being taken over by Muslims. If you care about your safety you shouldn't go to London at all. And it will be really bad in 20 years. By then Europe will probably be completely Muslim. They won't even want sports like the NFL there.
I can see one in Rio or Mexico City since the time difference isn't an issue. NFL SB rotation is boring of Florida, cali, arizona, NOLA. also, the SB isn't about the average fan since tickets and travel have always beeb out of the reach of fans
