Really thought Mancini would make the team.
I can see the Wilander move, but honestly dont understand Mancini he honestly killed it in pre season and think he earned his spot on the team.

Mancini can be back really soon, just one injury, what if Joseph or forbert has some kind of problem? Can Canucks go on the away trip game 4 to 8 without Mancini, I doubt it
Hard decisions but smart moves imo. I can see some players in the lineup for possible future trades.
Cootes, Karlsson, Lekkerimaki, and Bains means they are forward heavy. I am disappointed that Mancini is not on the Canucks roster. Willander struggled a bit so sending him to the AHL is a good idea. I still think Lekkerimaki and O’Connor should switch lines
Do you think Hoglander will be on IR or LTIR? IR likely makes more sense
If the Canucks want to make a trade, they have to move Willander and some other pieces. If I went to market for someone, I would to after Dylan Larkin!
To be frank, I’m not a big fan of Myers taking up a roster spot, I get why Forbort is there (penalty killing), but I’d rather have one of Mancini or Willander instead of Myers..it would help the cap as well. But what do we have, like, 2 more years of Myers, so yeah, perhaps a trade is in order..

I really dont like Myers in the top 4. Maybe theres a trade coming for a right shot defender because we have 5LD and 2RD on our roster.
I'm 90% sure they're just trying to get late picks for Karlsson and Bains before losing them on waivers.

i don't mind Bains, but out if him Karlsson and Raty, he would be the one i would be the least sad about being claimed. Imo, Raty has the most upside and Karlsson fits better in the bot 6 checking role.I do like that they kept up DPetey ( not calling him Jr here), I agree Lekkerrimaki earned a spot, and I think Cootes did enough to garner a further look. I would have liked to seen Mancini stayed up and maybe PO joseph sent down to bring a greater vet presence to abby . However, maybe they are looking at trading Bains to get something for him ( instead of losing him for nothing), so having a few waiver exempt players go down for a few games to make that happen is decent asset management .
