  1. Fox looked alright!? He looked like an arthritic pensioner on skates. He was -2 and gave up the puck more than any other Ranger.
    Let's go Devils

  2. I still think the rangers aren’t going to be the disaster that they were last season, but that offense was truly uninspired. They’re shoving out a clearly hurt JT Miller to play, and two players were responsible for half of their shots.

I hope they salvage some respectability. I say this even as a Devils fan, because it’s more fun when both of our teams are competitive.

  3. Hey, Eck! I know you from back in the Star Wars Squadrons days and I loved your content then. It was so much fun. I'm a lifelong Bostonian and looking forward to this new year not with any attachments to outcomes but to watch lots of NHL Hockey this season. I just subscribed. I make hockey content too, drop me a view and a line.

  4. A few things about this game:

    1. Silovs is good. As an Oilers fan, he was the best player in the Oilers-Canucks series two years ago, and you could argue he was the reason Edmonton didn’t sweep Vancouver.
    2. Ray Ferraro mentioned this, but the rangers only have offence coming from a few sources. The top line, maybe the 2nd line, and Adam Fox. It’s going to be tough for them to score this year. And you saw it last night.

  5. I do not gaf about the pens but silovs is my fave so i will be watching a lot of games 😅😅

  6. Yeah that was pretty pathetic. Hope it's not a sign of things to come. Kreider will be missed though.
The centennial jerseys look damn good at least 😀

  7. I really wish the NHL 26 video did better because I really enjoyed it and was looking forward to another one. Sad, but I get it.

  8. I would say something snarky. But I'm a Devils guy, and we are capable of all sorts of shenanigans. So lessgooo tomorrow!

  9. Clueless management, a coach forcing his former bum player onto the team. A bunch of new minus bums to go with the minus bums already on the team, a vastly overrated goaltender, lifelong "prospects" who never crack the roster and when they do they get 4 minutes of ice time on the 4th line. that all equals another lost year. 1994……………

  10. Rangers looked the same way they did last year, which after a coaching change is a bad sign.

  11. I don't like the rangers at all but they seemed to be throwing the body a lot/being physical, but that led to a lot of slowness. NY and Toronto remind me of trunks when he fights cell in dragon ball. Yeah you beefed the fuck up but you're slow as shit.

  12. The Rangers looked slow and weak. That sounds exactly like the Penguins since 2019.

  13. As a Devils fan who is also a goalie, I'll say this for the Rangers. Igor is still really good.

  14. As a Pens fan I say give Sully a chance. Let's see.

However, when the Pens won the back to back cups with him, they played a speed game. Four lines filled with players who could push it up the ice and wear down your D. Not sure the Rangers can do that.

I hate the fact that Letang and Karlson are still our D core. That won't go well as the season wears on. The young kids will do well in spurts, but have dry spells. Crosby will put up his 90 or so points (hopefully). Malkin will produce too if he stays healthy. Bottom 5 may well be right by the time we hit April.

  15. Ngl I’d rather have you guys be like the 13th worst team in the NHL so you can’t get a good pick and you still miss the playoffs

  16. Welcome to the traumatic stress period of your life known as Mike Sullivan hockey.

  17. Panarin and Miller are our best players but they had no preseason. It won’t be a pretty season but as long as Igor stays healthy, they should win more often than not.
