As a 52 year old Leaf fan, I’ve come to realize that these 82 games called the regular season don’t mean a thing other than getting enough gimmick points to make the playoffs. Insights gained from game 1 matter as much as insights gained from game 41. Those insights correlate to playoff performance about as much as facts correlate to Donald Trump’s speeches.

In response to the title of the TSN video, Jonathan Toews had an OK game even with that game, just on goals allowed, having ended up quite ugly.
