  1. of course these 2 love Nikita Kucherov, he's just as big a choker as they are.

Kuch has 1 5v5 goal in his last 41 (!!!) playoff games. And no OT winners since 2015. His team's been in 24 playoff OT games since his last winner.

Sidney famously has only 4 Finals goals in 25 games, and only 3 at 5v5 (still not as bad as Geno, who has 1 5v5 goal in 25 games). Nathan MacKinnon has yet to score a 5v5 goal in the Finals, in 6 games.

Kuch's favorite guy btw is Kane, who never had any of those problems.

  2. Hockey recognizes hockey! Kuch and Syd are perfect examples how you can compensate lack of physical atletism by intelligence and technique.

  3. MacKinnon should have said, "Keep working on it and maybe some day you will make the Hall of Fame with hard work" 🙂

  4. Mackinnon saying he's choppy and not smooth is hysterical. I love the humility, but he's legitimately the best in the league, if not the best. Is there still hope for us, eh, boys?

  5. Love nhl ,respect for Mr.Crosby and Mackinnon ,I support Canes 🔴⚫🏒🌀 from Bosnia ⚜️🇧🇦⚜️

  6. Corporatist NHL loathes Kucherov
Kucherov is your favorite player's favorite player
    Nuff said

  7. Chapeau, MacKinnon, for recognizing Kucherov. I soul rather watch him than you, but your choppy, frantic, impatient playing style has got to be an absolutely overwhelming nightmare to go against!

  8. I was in Las Vegas with my gf and a buddy for the Star Trek convention and experience. The good ole days. We were wandering around and decided to go into the Bellagio. We’re about 10m from the door and out walks this tall dude. And he had an aura. We both felt it. We pass him close and my buddy immediately looks at me and runs to the man with the aura who was about 2m away now. He goes “Mr. Lemieux!” He turns around with his right hand out ready to shake. “Yes.” “Can I have a photo?” “No. But I can shake your hand.” My buddy grabs it and shakes like a fool grinning the whole F’in time. We were both probably 24. Probably 2002. I look and I see his bald headed friend smiling at us. Tie Domi. Done. Over. Except not. Next day we go to in/out burger to eat. We’re in adjacent lines. He orders slightly before me. I get my order and receipt. I look down. It’s 67. Immediately look over at him and he’s flashing his fuggin 66 receipt at me like a fool. Crazy right? Except. We go back home to van and we’re playing in hockey league. I think roller. And my bud is a total plug. Can’t skate. No goals all season. First game back I take a shot from the slot that hits his stick and goes in. First goal. First game back. An Impossible Sequence of events. Especially him scoring. This memory came back when one of them talked about his aura. I’m serious. He had it. An actual aura.

  9. I don’t even like Tampa but Kucherov is one of my favorite players to watch as well. He produces just as much as the other top guys in the league but does it w/o blazing foot speed. He just has incredible vision, deception, and skill.

  10. I love that they both named Kuch as their favorite player to watch. I remember watching Kuch against Pens in 2016 ECF. He was already special and dominating.

  11. Mackinnon is so fast that it almost makes him look small on the ice. Then you see him sitting next to sid and realize mack is actually a big dude

  12. Man must be hard when their teams go head to head when you have that much love and respect for each other!

  13. Of my favorite players to watch outside of the Avs, Kuch is probably number 1, followed by Sid Barkov Kaprizov
