  1. The line up for the rangers game was pretty tight why not see what they can do. defensively they played well I thought the forecheck was really good and solid goaltending for a change
    Let’s go pens

  2. I absolutely despise yellow jerseys. Yellow vs White jersey matchup is such an eyesore. Much prefer them in a Team Sweden capacity where they have the Yellow jersey in place of a White jersey.

  3. Definitely excited to see Hallander, since I didn’t think he should have been scratched the begin with. Need to see whats hes got before Rust is back

  4. Hallanders 200 ft. game is suited better for the bottom six than tomasino and novak. In preseason, tomasinos 1st goal and novaks came directly from hallanders play. I think this is a good idea and why not rotate the bottom six a bit. Like I said yesterday, kindell shouldn't be the grit on that line.

  5. Gold robo penguin hell yeah I been saying that as long as it’s not the ugly ass blue jerseys lol

  6. As frustrated as I've been with Karlsson since he came to the Penguins and as much as I've been hoping for a trade to move him, I actually would be 100% OK with him as long as he does SOMETHING. Everyone who follows hockey has known for years about his defensive shortcomings and he's made a career out of working around that. He's not the only one. We all remember Paul Coffey very fondly but at least until the last few years of his career, he had regular and accepted defensive lapses just like Karlsson. Guys like him make up for that with booming slapshots from the point and quick breakouts and stretch passes to superstar forwards like Gretzky, Lemieux, Malkin and Crosby. He didn't really have that in San Jose during that 100 point season and coaching needs to sit him down and remind him that he doesn't HAVE to carry that weight anymore but does need to consistently use that natural skating and shooting to feed the forwards. If he does that, he'll get an 80-90 point season again and along the way help several forwards increase their numbers as well. No one should expect or want Karlsson hammering away in the corner or in the defensive slot with the Tom Wilsons of the league unless it's absolutely necessary. At the end of the day, when he continues to play subpar defense PLUS fails to put up big but reasonable offensive numbers, he's nothing but a liability. If he does what he's made a career of doing, he can stay here until retirement and fans will chant his name with every point.

  7. I've also seen Crosby with a matte black helmet on in pre-season interviews and shoots – maybe some combo to come with that?

  8. Geno is off to a hot start along with brazeau. That was a fun game to watch. The isles scorched the pens in transition a few times. Not used to seeing that from isles. Jarry was ok. The changeup goal by drouin was a bad one to give up but he came up big in the 3rd period. This pens team is fun to watch soo far. Last year's team not soo much. The youth has breathed life into the team

  9. I'd love the lines like this with everyone healthy

    Mcgroaty-Sid-Rust
    Mantha-Geno-brazeau
    Koivunen-Kindle-Rakell
    Dewar-Lizotte-Hallander

    Witherspoon-Karlsson
    Pickering-letang
    Dumba-bruinke

    Goalies
