1. Sitting Muk & Graf while playing Leddy, Klingberg, Reaves, & Goodrow is just stupid to me. I hate that the vets are held to a lower standard than the young players. I am so fed up of the coaches/ GM playing subpar vets over young prospects who are better now & in the future.

  2. Warsofsky does not like younger players beyond Mack. The vets never are held accountable for their actions. He doesn’t know how to develop young players (Smith got better because he played with better players, not because he was brought along slowly)

  3. I’m actually kinda concerned about Warso being so mixed up on his priorities. These veterans are not his friends and they’ll all be gone in a few months.

  4. Honestly I’m done with Warso…..he’s such a hypocrite and makes the most asinine lineup changes

  5. Those D lines sound terrible. With all due respect to the veterans I believe they should have a shorter lease than the younger players. They are veterans so they've been here and know the job. If their bodies can no longer do the job based on the length of the career then there isn't any improving in their game. On the flip side the young are still learning the job so the mistakes made should be more easily corrected.

  6. maybe its more of a gm decision playing the vets, if they are looking to trade them for value give them more minutes early in the season and give them a chance to sell themselves. Once traded the young guys can have more minutes

  7. The Leddy claim was just unnecessary. Leddy seems like a great guy but he has been really bad for 2 games. Seems like Warso sort of hinted at his vets sucking as well

  8. I can't prove that the sharks are tanking for McKenna but things are looking suspicious. If the sharks end this season and draft Gavin or Keaton and then next season there's no one in the line up over 25 we'll know it was by design

  9. It's funny when I would criticize Warsofsky, people would say but…..but… he's won championships at multiple levels…..😂
I don't think they know what they are talking about. He won a championship with a veteran laden Chicago Wolves team, with Poturalski as their leading scorers and a bevy of players with some NHL experience and only 1 or 2 players who were 23 and under.
His system is trash, his handling of young players is trash.
Darryl Sutter had this same issue, but he had a player/coaching pedigree when he got here and a solid defensive scheme that made a not overly talented team competitive night in night out. But he used to frustrate me for benching young guys for making a mistake that I would watch vets make nightly. Also, Darryl was too loyal to some of these vets that were not very good. I don't like it when coaches put young players who everyone feels are top 6 guys on the 3rd and 4th line. I feel they are held back and don't look to good when that happens. If they are not gonna play top 6 minutes then send them to the minors or back to juniors. They'll just develop bad habits playing with players not on their skill level. I hated what he did with Smith last year and tying him to Goodrow in the beginning. When you are rebuilding, you let these guys sink or swim on their merits or skill, not based on putting them with bottom 6 level players.
