Brady shouldn’t be allowed to play in the olympics. He was injured at the end of the season because of 4 nations, he is now injured again. We can’t get him back then he goes to the olympics and possibly gets injured again. The priority is for the team that pays him. Of course they will allow Brady to do with ever he wants.

greetings from lost germany. new season, new hope. we always hope to turn last season‘s bad into good, and to turn good into even better. then we win the first game, body temperature rises, only to realize that physical life isnt a fairytale at all. i cant see any progress from last season. first time ever to question travis green?
Time limit would just lead to even more bad calls. The fact is the rule is clear, "was the goalie's capability to make the save impeded." Figuring it out shouldn't take 6 hours. The problem is that the refs are neither players nor goalies. A goalie should be in toronto making the call.

The slow starting Senators saga continues. Wouldn't worry to much, last year they started 10-12 and made the playoffs.
The Canucks and Sens, after having won their respective 2025–26 regular-season openers, with each team having, in its relevant opener, scored at least four goals, have lost two straight games and have each scored not more than two goals in either of their last two games. It’s quite possible both will end up this season becoming lottery teams although perhaps by game 10 of this regular season either team will end up being in a playoff spot or very close to one.

This seasons start has been super weird; preseason didn’t aspire a lot of confidence (then I was told it didn’t matter), and now the start has been bad (then I’m told it doesn’t matter because it’s the start of the season)
You don’t hear other fanbases making so many excuses for a “playoff team”.
Our expectations are higher, and our tolerance for bad play is gone.

I agree that the bar has been raised and gone are the days of “playing well enough to compete, but not enough to win” as being acceptable. I’d much rather see them taking the Panthers to OT and lose there by gaining a point at least.
Everything about this game was frustrating I mean obviously the reffing was atrocious tons of missed calls and taking away a goal from us for goaltender intereference apparently. But one thing that really furstrated me was Timmy. He had loads of great chances but the problem is his shots are either straight into the goalies chest or missing the net. He needs to either rip the puck like a slapshot or not be so predictable of where he's going to shoot like try to deak out the goalie or something. Some positives from this game the PK alot better ditched the diamond which is good and Ullmark had a way better game then the Florida one. Turn the page onto Buffalo this is a must win game! GSG!

Far from a glorious start for the team. However, it is an 82 game season and it is often good to get the adversity out of the way early :).
Ottawa Sens so far, are completely unstructured and undisciplined. Pathetic. Coaching and players need to get their shit together. There's no cohesiveness anywhere. Looks like they've just started playing together. Pinto is the only player that I feel has come to play hockey. That's it. Pinto is good. Everything else, it's a shit show. Detroit this year will turn heads. Not Ottawa. Not this year.

I'm not usually one to "blame" a loss on the refs, but this game was HORRENDOUS. The goal being called back was a massive insult to common sense. He was not interfered with and could easily play his position.
The score was 4-1, but I don't count empty netters when it comes to talking about the game "play" overall. Yes, they count. But it was a better game than that.
I'm not looking forward to their next game against Buffalo. It's set up perfectly for the Sens to lose against a desperate team. If the Sens lose that game, I'm pulling out the Panic button and dusting it off
