They are not using Zetterlund properly. He's the first guy in on the forecheck and battling for the puck on the boards and nobody shoots that way. He needs to be the second or third guy in to get a pass and be in ab area to shoot. Of course that assumes somebody on this team could actually make a proper pass.

There's too many things to fix for the Sens.
Not sure what happened this summer to this team but they got worse, not better. Never liked Travis Green. He doesn't have what it takes to lead these players to a Stanley cup. Not enough of a strategic mind for modern NHL hockey. He'd be good in the 90s but things have changed and you really need structure, discipline and power to be a contender.
What I see now with the Sens is that they're at the struggling and figuring things out stage. It's not time to figure things out, you have to have it figured it out before the season starts. Sens are so under water already, and nowhere near where they should be at this point. This is a pathetic display of incompetence. Not interested in this bs in management.
When they made it 5-4 my wife got excited. I turned to her and said just wait, the Sens are notorious for cutting a lead and giving it back within minutes. And sure enough…
I have to say Thomas Chabot is the most over hyped and overrated Sens D-man of all time. And to think when he was young some fans were saying he was the second coming of Erik Karlsson.
It's the worst situation for me right now. I'm surrounded by Montréal fans, and they are winning as usual, 15 seconds to play and in overtime. Like one of the guys said, it's so frustrating to be a Sens fan!!!

That’s -2.5 per game. That’s pace for -205. Ullmark was good in the Nashville game. Let’s not forget two of those goals in the 4-1 loss were empty netters. But the other three games, both our goalies have been trash. Whole team has pretty much been trash most of those games. But holy fuck! You need a fucking save every now and then to give your team a chance – especially since we always have to claw back from behind.

honestly leevi has looked awful all season… looks out of place as a goalie. his angles are all off. his positioning/depth in the crease is off. and his mentality seems off. to the point where it’s like what are you doing bro. the sens need rick wamsley back as the goalie coach bad.

Anyone who watched this team last year and/or the Blue jays this year knows that the first portion of the season, while it is nice to do well, does not define the team as a whole nor what the team has the potential to do.
We beat Tampa in the first game of the season, and yes we have had a few stinkers riddled with some bad mistakes, but think of how many of those types of games we had on the first part of last season, and then how wide the margin was between us and the third spot in the Atlantic come game 1 of the playoffs.
I do not think that we have any reason to worry just yet, the season is still young and everyone is still getting into the flow of the game after a poorly managed pre season. Give the boy a little bit to figure it out and then reassess.
I called it yesterday stating they NEED to take the desperate Sabres seriously…I am now the laughing stock to my Leaf fan friends (I’m in the GTA) and sadly I don’t think I’ll be getting the last laugh (grrrr)

My thought:
Core is just not getting it done. Clear to see. But, that doesnt mean we wont pick it up to some extent. Batherson, Chabot, Giroux, Perron are all coasting pretty hard right now. Spence is not a difference maker, Kleven is not up to form right now. Goalies are way, way to inconsistent but the defense is as well, and the offensive lines are brutal defensively. Batherson is probably the worst back checker on the team, and is virtually useless when not on the PP.
Pros:
Sanderson, Eller and pinto of course. But that's about it.
