You cant win with a D man like Bouchard as your number 1. Hes fantastic offensively but has so many defensive giveaways and lapses in judgement defensively, did the same thing the previous 2 playoff runs. You need a guy like Makar who is great at both ends of the ice or a guy like Shea Weber who can eat minutes, chip in a little offense and be a stud beast defensively. Bouchard is STUPID as hell. To put it in EA terms, he has a 95 offensive awareness but a defensive awareness of a 50.

Bouchard should be investigated. He really pulled off of players and gave them space to receive passes and take open shots instead of closing in on them . Also most of his passes where super sketchy. Never mind giving the puck up without much of an effort to regain it or defend. I’m serious he should be on the league’s radar

Well… all of us wanted Skinner to give us a chance — and here we go. He did a good job. But if the Oilers really want to win, they need to learn how to shoot the damn puck properly. How many shots do the Oilers need just to score three goals? This has been going on for way too long.
