  1. Great video! I love alternates when it’s reflects the teams branding and colors. I’m definitely not a fan of city jerseys.

  2. It's because dumbasses out there will buy every jersey, just to have a complete set, for whatever silly or OCD reason. For MY money, I'd be fine with the soccer practice of, you wear the same jersey all the time except when you visit a team with a similar color. "Oh, but how would you know who was the home team?" Oh, I dunno– the center court logo? Might that be a clue?

  3. I once watched a game where the Pistons wore black and white while the spurs wore red and light blue

  4. Absolutely fantastic take! I mean the kind of started with the Lakers Sunday White. And the bulls white red black and St Patrick's Day Green.

  5. I get what you're saying, but if they did restrict the amount of uniforms, would there be any room for the Warriors tribute to Oakland with "The Town" jerseys? I'm pretty sure that's the "statement" uniform.

  6. Bring back “If it broke don’t fix it”! White-home and color-away and alternate is what they should be.

  7. Different sport. However, this is why I appreciate the Yankees uniforms. Don't be me started on the baseball cap changes though.

  8. Actually I think the Pittsburgh Pirates of the late 1970s with the mix and match uniforms proved very successful. Then te real fun started with the Chicago White Sox when they switched to the Black and silver. The color scheme was a hit and the Black alternate jersey was( is) a classic. So much so that other teams adopted alternates. The White Sox are owned by Jerry Reinsdorf so he took the alternate uniform ideato the Chicago Bulls which he also owns. Teams figured out how much more money they could ake.

  9. When the only intention is to get more money from your existing fans, it just looks like another money grab. That's today's NBA.

  10. Three kits; Home, Away and Alternative (Third Kit). That's all the NBA should allow. They'll run out of designs at this rate.
Granted, Third Kits here in European soccer tend to be the bad or dull, but sometimes you get Gems like the Ajax "Three Little Birds" kit in 2021/22, which was done with permission from Bob Marley's family. Or throwbacks like what Liverpool and Chelsea are doing with the colours and badges.
If the NBA wants to make Jersey's people want to buy, then they should look at Venezia FC in Italy. They basically look like a perfect marriage between fashion and sport 😊
