  1. They outshot the wings by a large margin. They deserved a better fate. Talbot was unreal.
Nice to see Jarnkrok rolling along.
The effort was there most of the game. The result wasn't.
Early struggles continue to plague the Leafs exiting their own zone. This was especially bad in the second period again tonight as it was on Saturday. Hopefully they can move the puck better going forward.

  2. People need to chill out, lmao.
Let's not get carried away with the dumb comments.
Let's see where this team is at come Christmas.
    Relax

  3. My thoughts?…got the jail cell free?…..its the regulars, the "stars" hurting the team, the middle to bottom end played well, the top end, meh, not that good although Mathews and Knies played with energy, even Robertson played a decent game, Stoly was ok, the wings were lucky, and made the most of their few chances, Leaf need to tighten up, they looked like individuals playing a team sporrt, and doing it badly

  4. There is a famous, saying that I have been hearing from many, many years. "Go To The Net"… 3rd period, what happens, knives goes to the net and what happened, #The Leafs Score"!
When the goalie can see the puck that mean they will 9 times out of 10 they will save it. It don't matter how many shots you get on net, if he (the goalie) can see it, he will save it.

This is my advice for the leafs for future games "GO TO THE NET!"

  5. I put this game
On the coach, he did not have the right people to secure at least the point. And the last minute of the game heartbreaking.
    I don't look for scapegoats.
The courts didn't have the right people. And the eyes to secure at least a point
What's the last minute of the game? And you see what I'm talking about.
Thank you. Chief, better luck next time. It's not the player' fault😢

  6. I don’t think I’ve liked one leafs game this year as much as I dislike marner this team is nothing in regular season without him

  7. I really do not want to hear the media bringing up Marner when the leafs lose. Leafs would've still lost game… Positive with Marner gone you see the potential in Knies now with him on top line and more min. Knies has made some really good plays in the 3 games. This team needs more pre season games bc they always start out slow.

  8. It's disturbiing how good Cowan and Jarnkrok look in this line-up. Yes they miss marner cause he is really really good.

  9. I have genuine faith Macelli will turn it around, he hasn’t looked noticeably bad he’s just not impactful enough. Not taking the shot and trying to force that pass to Tavares was probably his worst play, which isn’t bad by any means. As for Cowan, keep him up there. He needs the opportunity and if you’re gonna give him top line opportunity perfect. If he gets 35 points this year, fine. 40 even better. It will pay dividends for the team come next year. This year was always going to be a down year with no obvious Marner solution in the wings.
