As a Sabres fan these past two games have been a lot of fun. A very small taste of what hockey used to be and felt like back in the day. The way the season started I have been watching some old games from the mid to late 2000s just missing what that felt like. I really hope they can sustain this level of play and stay healthy. We’ve been dying for some good hockey. We’ve had our fair share of fun moments like this over the years but it never lasts. Early talks are in place for a potential $400M renovation project for Key Bank center. If the team can finally overcome this drought then maybe we’ll have a new era of Sabres hockey to look forward to with a refreshed arena and a good competitive hockey team. One can dream lol.
