Not a good game. I'll eat my words trash talking the veterans in the 3rd line over having the kids, Raddysh can play well when he hits a good run, good for him. BUT, it takes a whole team to win, and again, where was the top 6?

Sully. You need to bring up some of the kids. Team needs something special, they need energy, they need heart. Team right now looks slow, and bored, and predictable. They do the same crap, just ring it around the boards, left defense throws it to right defense, right defense throws it to the net, and he's so slow that it gets blocked most of the time before it even gets there. Even the good scoring chances are predictable to the point it makes the opposing goalies look like superstars, too often. Out of Perreault, Othmann, Morrow, Berard – at least two of those guys need to be brought up. Miller should have Gabe on his wing, teaching him, not Sheary. Sheary works hard, but he isn't a playmaker. Morrow would be exciting on defense, he adds unpredictability and something extra for the defense in the offensive zone. Morrow can jump up into the attack, modern defensemen have to be much more involved, thats where the league is going. Every player has to be involved, it can't just be a rigid game the whole time. Put some trust in these kids, take a chance, have some fun.

No I didn’t forget Laffy, but let’s be honest, he doesn’t make this team, and he simply isn’t good enough.

I said to my wife before season started that this poor coach would have a bleeding ulcer by Christmas with this team!!! I hate that I’m right . In fact may be by a thanksgiving. Feel bad for him!!

Drury needs to be fired. He absolutely destroyed this team. Move off everything you possibly can and load up on draft picks. They are never winning with this roster.
It's a long season; this is a blip … not a particularly good one, but they're better than this.
Drury has to go, this team is built terribly.
I'd like to think Sullivan is the guy who can change this culture around
reminds me of the Canadians game where the opposing teams speed and skill made us look bad…they came back to win and they came back tonight but it's evident that portion of our teams identity is totally lacking!
It’s still early but this is a lotery team. Hopefully, the Rangers will draft 2 maybe 3 future great players next june.
He had his time as a great coach, but I believe those days are behind him. He lost the ability to motivate himself, and consequently, he can't motivate the team. It seems like the Pens made the right decision by letting him go.

3 Coaches all saying the same thing. This team lack of playing a full 60 minutes is atrocious, and that's me being nice. The team is slow, so more often then not they will be outbeaten to puck races. There is a lot of blame to go around, but Drury should be accountable for the Roster management. The players should be responsible for the many things to. This team can't make a break out pass, lack of speed, sloppy defensive coverage, lack of grit… the list can go on and on. When your leading scorer is Taylor Raddyish, and you have Connor Sheary playing 2nd line LW, you know you have a problem.

If we're getting beat on home ice by a previously winless team, this season will be far far worse than even the last one.

What did we do with Montreal when that young team was skating around us?
We started hitting them hard making them get rid of the puck faster and second guess their decisions therefore we got control of the game back. I don’t know why we didn’t do that tonight
Hard to believe we’re stuck with Drury for awhile. Meanwhile, Groton in Montreal, is building a young, exciting team that can play. We beat them because two of their main guys were out with injuries.
Very poorly constructed roster. If they really wanted to change the culture they should have hired Joel Quenneville. Sullivan won 2 Cups with 3 HOF players in their prime. They need to unload Panarin at the trade deadline and somehow, someway convince Mika to waive his no trade clause. He says the same thing, "we want to be a hard team to play against". LOL. Every team wants to play the Rangers. The Flames can't wait for the Rangers to get there on Sunday.
Why are Rangers fans surprised they suck?? they were not a playoff team last year and this year they aint either, this is a bad team, when they score they give up 6 goals, when they defend they lose 1-0 those are signs of a bad team, they have no firepower, Panarin, Zibanjed and Panarin all suck and gotta go! they got nothing, the worse NHL team in NY, Islanders and Devils are way better teams. The Rangers are boring!
We can't win with this group. Make some trades and call up the kids. Start molding them into the players you want them to be. The core of this group will NEVER win anything. They had their day in the sun, came close but it's OVER.

Chris Drury is the problem he does absolutely nothing to make this team better!
If anyone can salvage this team it's Sullivan, his honesty is so refreshing. The problem seems to be that the apple is rotten at the core, slow, predictable, and old.
How on earth do you not be prepared for an opponent? It was clear that the winless Sharks had much more jump to their game then the Rangers did at the start.

When a player like Celebrini or Hughes comes in to our building your defensive players need to try and shut them down not let them skate all over your rink and score at will

the traditional scorers aren't scoring….no one is playing smart d. Miller, Z and Bread need to step up. Doesn't help with Troch being out. Gonna have to suffer a little more.
Just make sure Mika plays 1st line and 1st line PP and gets ice time in OT, nothing else matters except Mika.
They are old they are slow . Tank the season hell the why they are playing they don’t need to Tank.
Sorry for Coach Sullivan…motivating is everything with this group. Team hollowed out with too many trades. You can see these are players in search of chemistry. There are many teams coming out of rebuilds and Rangers are betwixt and between. Winning is there on the table and up to guys to reinvent their energies.
As NHL longtime fan here…the passion and focus it is missing and as Coach says there needs to be complete full game effort.
