We just need to play all of our promising kids and let them learn the hard way. The Habs are doing it. Muhk needs MUSCLE!! and Klinberg needs to sit and Iorio looks real nice

The Sharks can stress structure but still increase minutes for the kids. Just remember that Cagnoni is only 20. It took Mukh until he was 23 to put it together and then he got scratched anyway. But yeah they might need Harold Robinson on this road trip again.
I’m full steam towards give the kids the keys to the car. Our forward offseason signings have proved their worth but I think the defense log jam has kind of worked itself out with the veteran play so far.
Warsofsky simply needs to go. Idc what others think. He’s scratching and degrading our youngsters which is the worst thing he can in this stage we are. Lowering Will Smiths TOI is simply the same thing like if you would put Celebrini on a 3rd line. It’s complete nonsense. And how should the young guys feel when they’ve got different line mate every freakin game? This team under Warsofsky lacks consistency, the game system sucks. At this point maybe even Quinn would be better coach and that’s something lmao.

The smith situation right now is painful to watch. Just put him back with celebrini. They got three points each and then got split up 😅. You don’t see any of the vets getting punished like smith is.
As always, loved the episode and for the most part agree with you. Full youth movement to me is playing: Lorio, Dickinson and Cags on defense. Askarov in net and play the same forwards but with different lines.
I do not agree with the embracing the chaos as I think part of a players development is to learn to play within a system. Going away from that hurts the team and the players in the long term.
The Sharks are building and a major part of that is player development and embracing the chaos does a disservice to player development. The wins will come as the players learn the system and they have a chance to learn each other.

It wasn't by design, but the Sharks blue line could start Dickinson, Cagnoni and Iorio. That's age 19, 20 and 22 (iirc). Orlov, Leddy and Mario starting with them equals 5 left-handed sorts, but I'm good with going that young for at least a few games.
As for the youth like Smith, Misa, etc, its a long enough season and they can get a bunch of playing time. I'm more concerned with giving Macklin too many minutes. Balancing out the playing time so a lot of guys, including the younger forwards are all getting 15-18 minutes a night makes more sense to me.
I rather see these young kids make mistakes then watch a bunch of washed up veterans who can't play anymore

What’s the point of having all these prospects in the system if you refuse to play them….. if you’re going to tank do it with the young players so they develop Luca shouldn’t not play in the ahl, Dickinson needs more minutes, misa needs more minutes, smith needs more minutes, cardwell and Graf should play every game. I’m sooooo tired of the way Ryan is handling the young guys…
