  1. Huge fan of this. No tsn 1200 post game – this is the way to go tonight

Edit: live post game show after each game? Hell ya. Loving the fact you guys are filling in a huge gap in the Sens media

  2. This was a night that we've been waiting for, in terms of Greener's Sens, where the offense finally came from the team playing incredible defense. It felt like everyone was thinking the same. It wasn't just the PK; everyone went when everyone else went. The team felt like a team and not just a collection of individual stats. I personally thought it would take longer into the season for a night like tonight to happen — we knew the challenge this season was going to be in generating offense while sticking to their defensive structure — but it came in the first ten games. The caveats are that the Caps were playing on a back to back and they went down 2 guys very early in the game. That's tough. Also, if there wasn't such a controversial goal, maybe Lingren doesn't come undone at the seams… but the Sens also had him down on his stomach all night with crazy looks from each line so… maybe this game wouldn't have been 7-1, on another night, but it easily could have been 4-1.

Kleven just plays so much better when he has Kola backing him up. The two of them get each other. They've played so many minutes together, both here and in the AHL — it really isn't fair to Spence — but I agree with Wally. Its been so long since we've been talking about who should be in the lineup that I enjoy the debate. Champagne problems. But I will say, I couldn't imagine Spence in that game with how rough it was getting. I thought it was a really well read choice to field Dermy and Matzy. The one hit Wilson had was immediately answered and the ensuing scrum was just big guys who liked to hand out free lunches. Like, this was a game Ullmark threw hands in. The Caps gave us a tough series last year and this felt like an answer back. The same Washington team that went on to define the game 7 culture — they're apart of Brady's epic quote about believing they can beat any team in the league.

The third period was almost boring to watch because of how well the boys played. Inject this feeling into my veins! Looking forward, so much, to the next post-cast. GSG

  3. This post cast was a pleasant surprise! It was nice to see Batherson get on the board, and I 'm really happy with Cozens' and Pinto's starts. We need those players to step up in Brady's absence, and they are.

  4. This was a massive win the Sens needed to build confidence going forward. This was the most complete 60 minute effort this season where they did everything right from the PP, PK, 5 on 5, defense and goaltending. Putting Timmy back to top line center then moving Batherson and I was surprised my Nick Cousins going up there as well but that line was great. The 2nd line was great too Cozens was fantastic the 3rd line also contributed the 4th line was pretty quiet cause Eller and Zetterlund had MacDermid on their line so makes sense not much happened there. Ullmark didn't face many shots but kept the team in the game. For defense Sandy and Chabot played good but what about Zub with 2 points and +4! Stick with this same lineup except maybe taking MacDermid out and putting Lycksell back in. Jensen still is a minus player would like to see Spence in at some point. GSG!

  5. Cody saying that he thinks Zetterlund is a Top 6 player I respectfully disagree sir. Yes he hustles he makes good plays and gets shots on net but at the end of the day it's about producing points for your team and Fabian just hasn't been doing that. He stays on the 4th line until he can start getting some points I actually think his teammates on the 4th line Eller and Lycksell have been playing better then him honestly lol
