  1. how did sportsnet put draisatl AND roslovic above sherwood? two goals (one taken away, one of them the game winner in ot… not being first or at least second star is crazy

  2. Honestly petey I’m genuinely so happy to see you playing back to form. Keep proving all the idiot 50 year olds wrong stud

  3. Makes me so sad we didn’t exist end woody in the offseason… sadly even as an optimist there is no way we will be able to sign him unless he takes a big pay cut.

  4. Crazy idea… but maybe we don't need Quinn? This team actually played like a team and played well without him

  5. Massive win for the Canucks, and without Quinn Hughes. Entire team was engaged and committed the whole contest, and the 3 right-handed forwards in OT should be our new strategy haha. Onward and upward!

  6. Despite Hughes absence, they definitely all played like they're HUNGRY. That's how they need to play every game with desperation

  7. Love the insight from Foote but he might want to hold back a bit on voicing his tactics so publicly every media scrum

  8. Sherwood is fast, shoots hard and fast with accuracy he should be a top 3 no doubt lol just a boeser with speed

  9. Incredibly impressed with Foote and Management.
His messaging is on point, the hockey is fun to watch, every game seems to bring something different and dynamic, and in spite of 10 injuries to some of our top players, we are treading water.

  10. so happy petie is back to doing what he can do, not just for the team but for him as well. fearless in blocking shots, great puck distribution and he's reclaimed that one timer from the right face off circle. great game last night. interesting to see there is life without quinn if we have to go down that road. reichel is looking like a bargain for a 4th.

  11. I am very happy for Petey. I have always said he has so much untapped potential and his ceiling is arguably higher than Hughes. All the toxic fans and the annoying media (especially people like that awful Jeff Patterson and Frank Servavelli) are about to proven wrong!

  12. Sure they won, but they lost 2 two goal leads 2 games in a row, so just one bad bounce and a win is a loss. Why are people saying Petey, such a cute name, is back? He still doesn't shoot most times when he has a chance, he falls down when someone looks at him and he loses as many draws as he wins. If that is "Petey being back", then maybe he should leave and take his 11.6 million contract with him.

  13. Everyone compares Sherwood to Burrows, but Burr, as great as he was, put up a lot of his goals and points with the Sedins or Kesler. Despite the injuries, Sherwood is still playing a lot of 3rd line minutes. Obviously, he's taken some slick passes from skilled players, but some of the things he does I don't think I even saw Alex do on a consistent basis. He was great at burying Sedin passes and he was quick as well as being a physical pest, but Sherwood seems to have something a little different. That move he made last game I don't know if I've seen from Alex Burrows. Sure, there are some similarities. Gritty pest who can finish. But Sherwood seems to be able to create a lot of his own chances and finish them. Burrows could do all the board work, but I don't think I saw him dance through defenders.
