Nice episode! Liked that you brought up them being “for real.” That’s something I’m wrestling with. I want to believe so hard that this team is turning the corner, but it’s hard with how the last bunch of seasons we’ve had have gone. I’m just trying to remain optimistic and taking it game by game. Tonight will 100% be a big test. Fingers crossed!!

Fun game to watch. Pens got outplayed badly in the 2nd and 3rd periods but vintage sidney crosby game and jarry standing on his head got the victory. Bob wasnt very good in this game. The dewar goal he gave up was weak. 6-2 now with blue jackets coming to town on saturday

We don't know if we can say for certain that the goalies will be swapping every game, but if that's the plan for now I think it's a perfect fit for Jarry. I feel Jarry's biggest issue in net is himself and I don't think he has confidence in himself. Last year's tough love wasn't helping him feel confident in his role, just anxious about losing his spot or getting a more permanent position in WB.
This year, a bad game doesn't seem to have too much fallout. I know it's early, but like, a bad game isn't going to get you to lose your spot. You know you'll be on the bench the next game. That's how it was planned before the puck was even dropped. You get a game to wash off a bad performance and you can feel confident that you'll be starting the next game.
Idk if that's the plan or idea behind this goalie rotation, but whatever it is, it seems to be working!
