Shoutout Jake Evans & Gallagher for working their TAILS off to help start the Habs comeback which was ultimately thwarted by the refs and the oilers, but they deserve credit. I was too ticked off to remember more of the good stuff. Hats off to the boys for a great game despite a result they did not deserve.

Josh Anderson, the penalty wasn’t for shooting the puck it was for slamming his stick on the ice and yelling/ mocking the ref.
Also you should expect this, in a rigged league. Happens a lot, especially during the playoffs
There was nothing "borderline" about the Slafkovsky boarding penalty. Ludicrous call.
The penalty to Josh wasn’t for clearing the puck away after the goal. It was for looking directly at the ref and tapping his stick on the ice 4-5 times. You should get your facts straight.
It's funny. I remember watching Vancouver Granland curl himself around McDavid and the refs did nothing. NHL refs are a disgrace. With gambling being promoted by the league, corruption is absolute. Oilers had 0 power plays against the Rangers. How many times do Florida's Turtle and dirty Bennett accidentally run into goalies. Don't gamble kids.

Referees are human beings, they can make mistakes, but they should also be held accountable for them. Not react like a uncriticizable sect or smthg.
Let's not forget just before Caufield 2nd goal, they should have stopped the game when the puck hit the protective net above.
Lastly, experienced players should not play the victim but accept the fact they got robbed and talk to the League about it like St Louis did, otherwise they might get the refs on their back for more games. It's very frustrating, but we all know some other game, the Habs might deserve to lose one but will win it because of the refs or some other weird factor.
Losers blame the refs, Canadiens let in a goal with a minute left in the game, 5×5, they weren't shorthanded then, whats the excuse.
Kudos to Cole for speaking the truth. With light being shed on the NBA rigging, I think an investigation into Bettman and the refs needs to happen.

Awfully generous giving them a pass on the penalty to Slaf. They could have given Andy just the 10 and not the minor. Monty has to start in Vancouver or we risk him losing his confidence for an extended period. Cole has the slickest hands in the league

But if the Canadians play like this every game until the playoffs, we will not only make the playoff, but be a serious contender for winning the cup.
those refs were so awful that i think they should lose their job. we have the right to think that maybe they got paid to do this because it just make no sense. penalties were called on some weak play when there should not have been any and what about calling a 2 minute misconduct on a player ? it was awful. i know connor mc david is a good player but i saw him fell on the ice for no reason like he fake to get a penalty called and thats what happened also a few times during the game. there was no call for embellishment but penalties against the habs instead. one of the worst officiating i ever saw in 50 years i watch nhl games.
Anderson was allegedly taping his stick as a mock applause for the the ref. Anderson at best should have got a 10 minute misconduct. The team payed for Anderson and not Anderson directly. Just remember, you can't touch Connor in the shin pads or he will go down like he was shot.
