It was a good comeback win. But this team will just never learn. They continue only wanting to play 1 period and expect to win.
Leafs had no business winning that game. It's even worse with them winning because we all know this will become a daily thing again and again

😂❤ What a 3rd. Glad I tuned in for it.
I counted roughly 24 turnovers across the 1st two periods, with most coming after the 10 minute mark of the 1st period. The 3rd was completely unlike the last half of the 1st & all of the 2nd. It is infuriating watching how disconnected they were for almost 30 minutes. Why they can't execute offensively like they did in the 3rd is really frustrating for most fans.

I hate to say it, when the coach admits he doesn't know why the team is playing like garbage, that's concerning. That means either he doesn't know how to coach this team or the players are tuning him out. If this hasn't been fixed in over a month, then something needs to give and fast….how much longer does everyone need to see this going on?

Auston is absolutely correct. It’s refreshing to hear him say they shouldn’t be focused on the comeback but instead identifying why they started the way they did. They’re a veteran group now. Can’t start games like that. Good on them for sticking with it though and out working the Pens in the 3rd. GLG!
Unfortunately the building was very quiet and the leafs couldn’t get going .

I turned the TV off after 2nd period. I do not regret doing that. I will continue to do that. The first 2 periods 8 shots. You saw Robertson that stood out. Maybe a couple of other guys. That's it. The team looked like they had no passion for the sport their supposed to be in love with.
Any fan deserves as much praise as these guys do for actually making to the third period without turning it off.
Just trade back for hyman or kadri. Bring in an enforcer. Take Tanev to a witchdoctor. And win the fucking cup.

Same issues..players are tuning out the coach as they did with Keefe. This is clearly about leadership and character they lack. They look lazy, slow and soft..
"INCONSISTENCY" a major issue with the Leafs! Not sure, if Chief is losing the room or not? Tre, needs to acquire players that want to "WIN!" Keeping players that have lucrative contracts and underperform, is not the recipe to team success, and Stanley Cup aspirations.
The D has to keep blocking shots like Carlo. Some guys still need to listen to the coaches and play tougher in the d-zone.
