Not a forward… but a comparison to Kindel is 2015-16 Maatta. I seem to remember it was assumed he would go back to Europe at 9 games, but he just played too well and forced them to keep him up.
I really love how rusty just goes on these scoring streaks every year loll I luv this guy and hopefully we don’t trade him
Bryan rust: the first forward ever to trip someone with their shoulder😂 Great game from kindy this kids so good i hope he keeps developing like this.. what a pp goal
Kindel kinda reminds like of Jordan Staal when I watched him play as a kid. Just sayin..😇
Kindel is reminding me of Bedard a little
Where does Rutger fit when he's completely healthy?
I enjoy not having the space for all the young talent 😅😅
Guys I have to say, who saw this start coming? It's been a breath of fresh air, considering how October's have gone the last 3 years for this team.
I agree, I am cautiously optimistic, I want to see where this team is by Thanksgiving, before declaring they are back. I will say, this team is having fun again, and you can see it. Don't get me wrong, I loved Mike Sullivan and appreciated what he did here, but the way this team is defending and playing under Dan Muse, clearly showed that there was a change and new voice needed. You can tell not only do the players buy into what he is selling, but they respect him as a coach also.
The way last night's game started and how it ended, to me it was like the Penguins were like cobras and they just slowly and methodically suffocated the Minnesota Wild. That third period was outstanding, Tristan Jarry could've just chilled out and sat back for most of that period, because there was never any threat of the Wild scoring.
Also, I have to mention to your point Hunter, Garrett Rank is awful lol. To be honest, The Penguins only should've had one penalty last night, which was the too many men on the ice penalty. The delay of game shouldn't have happened (that was not goaltender interference on Brazeau), the hooking call on Bryan Rust was a joke, and the tripping that Sid got on Kaprizov also a joke. His stick maybe tapped the back of skates, but didn't warrant a trip. If anything, it could've been a dive on Kaprizov. They didn't let it deter them, they just killed the penalties off.
Also, do you think Dan Muse will loathe Garrett Rank like Mike Sullivan did when coached the Penguins lol
Really starting to figure out that PK.
I've gotten so tired of the "trade Crosby" BS that I have unfollowed and blocked any "news" outlet and "journalist" that spreads that crap.
Guys, how much of a breath of fresh air is it to be a Pens fan rn?! It feels like the peak of the Crosby years where I’m disappointed when there isn’t a Penguins game on in the evenings. I didn’t see this coming and I’m still trying to remain reserved. But this team is so much fun to watch again. I cannot believe I’m actually saying they’re 1st place in the NHL after 12 games.
I remember Hunter railing against this clown Rank last season. Man, this guy is even worse than you painted him. Incompetent as hell (or even something more devious happening). Geno robbed by this embarrassment of an official. Should be replaced immediately.
They laughed and questioned us picking Kindel at 11th, now they're talking more about him.
A huge difference this year….they DO NOT THROW IN THE TOWEL when they get behind!! And yes, our big guys legs will be fresher with playing less per game. Such a different approach than what Sully did, WOW!!
Damp, LOVE your last comments on Croaby being "that pety" of an athlete 😅❤
