  1. 6-1 loss speaks volumes on scoring, defending, and goaltending. Coaching on this team seems to be spinning and not focussed on consistantcy, along with chemistry. When young players are being moved in and out of the lineup with different line mates, it creates zero confidence in the player. Losing will become a culture for a team not that far off a winning team with a cup! Where did that winning culture go?

  2. It’s time to move on from Buch…he’s started slow two years in a row. Kyrou, should be traded…he skates like a butterfly. Afraid of hitting or being hit.

  3. Talent is one thing, effort and mental toughness are another. This team is loaded with talented guys who regularly go through long stretches in which their effort is questionable. The leadership group specifically, and all of the veterans more generally, are soft (with the obvious exception of Schenn who is usually an effort guy working with a rapidly diminishing skill set). Buch, Kyrou, Faulk, Parayko, and even Thomas are soft. From the way they approach the game to the way they quit on coaches every season. You can get away with a couple of guys like this, but you can’t get away with a room full of them. It’s time to blow up the veteran core, and find some guys who actually enjoy playing hockey.

  4. Let’s get a real enforcer…enough of Schene taking it on the chin. Also, need a strong d-man

  5. The blues could potentially get Ellis back. Buffalo has to put him on waivers again after he has been there 30 days. So will they i don't think so, but they definitely could. As far as buchnevich goes, get tf out of here. He absolutely has to go

  6. Its time for Armstrong to go. No moving up to president of hockey Ops. The Mailloux trade was a disaster, with little indication itll woek out long term, the Fowler extension was obviously too early, not trading Buchnevich last year. Doug has been taking Ls left and right. The offer sheets is the only thing he's done right for several years now. He dismantled the championship roster and has been treading water ever since. If they would have entered a proper rebuild when Pietrangelo signaled he wasnt going to stay, the Blues could have built a new team off of blue chip talent.

  7. Unfortunately, I dont think Buch really has any value. I would love to have him lower in the line up instead of being paired with top caliber players. Buch is dragging down the front line other than helping them out.

  8. From everything in the past as well, I wonder if Kyrou is one of the more negative forces in the locker room. This isn't the first slump in production from him and I'm sure it won't be the last. Just seems too temperamental to have a leading role on the team. While Buch isn't doing so hot right, we get much more consistency out of him than Kyrou it feels like. I want to like Kyrou but this is every season with him.

  9. Call up carbo and drop a vet. I love sunny but that first shift icing with no pressure set the wrong tone. Embarrassing

  10. 23 needs kept out of the lineup, not to mention he does not look like he has any idea what he is doing on the ice whatsoever, hate saying that knowing he's a pro, but it honestly does. 51 style of defense isn't much better but is better.

  11. When the HC allowed the Blues to play soft on game seven, getting up to 4-0 lead, only to lose the game lies squarely on the HC shoulders!! They stopped attacking and started playing not to lose defense, which never works in any sport!!!
