Women have ruined sports en masse
how are your views trends since you started posting the questions and reads? I always skip ahead to you talking and try to figure out the context or just stop watching altogether. I do not enjoy this format.
What ruined it for me was when nearly every reporter shifted from asking relevant questions to using the same cookie cutter open ended non-questions repackaged. “What would it mean” “What does this mean going forward” “Describe the emotions” etc.
It’s the format. The middle of a game is no time to seek, or give, important information.
Plus, aside from Verducci and a few others, sideline reporter types aren’t exactly rocket scientists.
Yes, these interviews are a big waste of time. The questions are inane. I remember one NBA player (forgot who unfortunately) was asked what it would take to win tonight's game. The reply was "Score more points than they do". Then he turned away and walked off.
Only the media cares about interviews and press conferences. Who actually watches them?
Apopka in the house! Home of the slime green lake!
Women in men's sports…. token females on sports shows, or on the sidelines.. its crap.
Feminist activists ruined sports interviews
4:16 no player wants to be the player that talks about his teammates.
Because the left wing media will plaster it everywhere and miss quote
no mercado digital🙏🏻🙏🏻Deus realmente
transformou minha vida, agora posso cuidar da minha família🧑🧑🧒 e apoiar a igreja de Deus🙌🏻✨🙌🏻
What has ruined sports is the post-game interviews for the coach/manager. They have to explain every decision and everything gets picked apart.
What do you mean "completely inane answers", Phil? Athletes always know what it takes to win interviews. They give the reporter 110% of their attention and do all the little things right to make sure that the fans are engaged. Now, if you'll excuse the athletes, they're going back to the dressing room to make some adjustments for the second half of the interview to make sure they come out on top.
The ones that really get me are the ones where a former athlete interviews a current athlete and the interview is essentially a series of jock jokes that have been told about 1000 times before and weren't funny the first 999 times. "So you gonna go out and you gonna take my team yards receiving record today? HAHAHAHAHAH!"
The only ones that work are when guys that don't take crap like Todd Bowles or Marshawn Lynch step up to the mic. You ask a question, and you'd BETTER be prepared for their answer, because you're sure getting it!
I mean the fact that a sideline reporter faked coaches answers and no one noticed for years because the answers are always the same speaks volumes. Honestly sideline reporters offer next to no value to a broadcast, and only exist so broadcasters can day they give women jobs in sports media but they won't let them in the booth
DEI hire Women reportors
Half the time the interviews aren't live anyway, so if they only exist to dig for the .01% of the time they're entertaining, just don't air the interview unless it's good

I don't mind the per and post game interviews. Its part of the business that everyone has to deal with. I hate the mid game soundbites we get. They are useless.
Mid game interviews suck. Like when a team is still playing and the coach or manager is pulled aside for an interview. So dumb
