One of the classiest, kindest, funniest men on earth, it's only a bonus that he was the premier playmaker of his generation and one of the greatest talents of all time. Jumbo Joe is the most recognizable of the 2025 Hockey Hall of Fame class. Thornton made a star, even a superstar, out of so many wingers he played with. He was legendary. The San Jose Sharks were very smart to get him. He changed the franchise around.
Of course Patrick Sharp is there the man loves a good Joe joke you know he doesn't have the most impressive resume but if Patrick Sharp got put in the Hall of Fame I would not complain 900 plus games 600 points to Stanley cups I've seen players go in for Less
