Habs looked a little sluggish out there. Kings on the other hand looked sharp. Byfield was due for two points.
Ok Monty sucked but he had a great first period just he couldn't keep it that way for the other 2 and that is his story ,he is not a 3 period goalie.

Sam Montembeault can't even stop a beach ball! I'm sick and tired of him getting a chance to be the starting goalie. We all know that Dobes is better. He should just be the starter and I think they should just trade Montembeault. I know there isn't any trade rumors about him and the habs haven't really thought about trading him but if we could for like a solid second liner and maybe a couple draft picks it wouldn't be a bad pickup. As a matter of fact, that would free up some money to resign guys in the off-season and extend some contracts like Ivan Demidov or Oliver Kapanen. That is if we could trade him for a guy with a cheap contract or an older veteran that will retire in a year or two and we could just rent them for the playoffs. Sure! Yes we are losing a goalie but don't forget we do have Jacob Fowler to look forward to and we will need some money to resign him. Right now I don't think it's a temporary bad thing to have that, especially if you can get a couple draft picks out of the trade too. Not only that even if the Habs don't win the cup this year, which they're not expected to. They will have a veteran guiding their young playoff team and giving them tips and tricks to eventually win a Stanley Cup. I know this was a bit of a heavy comment, but I'm a big Habs fan and I feel very strong about who the goalie is, especially because I grew up watching one of the greatest goalies ever played for the Canadians, which would be Carrie Price and Dobes kind of reminds me of him.

This is the game ive been waiting from Montreal. The entire season they have played chaos hockey. Like i have said before.
Huge bubble team, with capital B. In EVERY game so far this season.. they have had either a lead, more than one goal, then they have been down, but then comeback OTW, or been down like 3 goals, but able to win..in OT.. soo many late game tying goals, or even 1 game winner.. under 1 minute left..
Not this time. Habs fans, expect more games like this in the near future, sorry Habs fans, thats the reality.
