    So you tell me they shorten the season by 20 days. Cram in all 82 games and you end up with a very mediocre season with plenty of injuries.

    Sorry, but I think you’re wrong. There are great players, great teams, and great markets. Florida has won 2 straight cups! There are 5-6 teams that can win any night and entertain the crowd. Maybe it’s the sports media who are average, tbh.

    yes! almost* every team is "about 500" … so you are .600? wow… so you are .400? don't fret… there's only a handful of teams above that and its too early to say they can hang on to their winning ratio … so seriously if you are a canucks, rangers, oilers fan, i think you are over-fretting and over-indexing on .500 level… the whole freakin league is about tied with you. … it's not about november its more like the moth leading up to the playoffs when teams will seprate by going on a heater. vancouver is doing fine.
