Leafs have made the playoffs since 2017 (last 9 seasons). This team is looking like a mature product within its own product life cycle (entering maturity to decline).
The hate was on Holmberg and he left town. He played defensive and was strong on the puck. Who replaced hime? Roy? Vermachelly? Domi? NONE! Marner is gone, they still have an hangover losing him. Shanny sold the farm for Carlo, not Tree. There are too many egos making the calls in the background with this Leafs team. Berube lost a good defensive coach. Signing Stoly long term was a mistake. Rielly should have been traded before signing a long term contract. "On paper…", we have heard this idea for decades! The good news is that this team is not completely out of making the playoffs, not yet, hopefully they will begin to play better and get some wins. We are in good company, the HAS is on a four game losing streak. LET'S GO LEAFS! 👏👏👏Kill the "go leafs go chant", it is lame and MELANCHOLY!
That was complete garbage they don’t win any battles for the puck they all watch instead of compete and our leader is hurt again. I can’t even watch this team the whole game they are stuck in our zone and that is every game it’s hard to watch. If you look back at all brads teams they all go down after he puts his touch on them the same is happening to the leafs . To let go of Marner for nothing was a huge mistake and the players we got this summer are a joke another year wasted .

This is not going well, much like Arizona and Calgary not going well. There is a common denominator.
Treliving & Berube need to take responsibility for not putting Stollarz, Woll & Hildeby in position to succeed. Lots of reasons but that is fail on mgt and is a proximate cause. Also I think mgt has failed to communicate the Treliving Bérubé vision to properly integrate some new pieces with last years successful team. Overall it is a better team than last year if Matthews can find his groove. But JT, Nylander, Robertson, Domi and Reilly all look better than this time last year. And the defence is better on paper. So sooner or later I think they will fix it on the ice. Overall though we lacked grit to win game 7 and I don’t see that problem has been solved yet . . .
I clearly remember when Marner and his agent publicly stated last season that he wanted "less opportunity!"
I'm fine to watch these videos on YouTube. No ads (minus the Rogers logo) but I'm not watching games. We all know this team plays poorly and isn't going to win the Stanley Cup with their current play style.
Leafs get no money from me, almost no advertiser gains, no ticket revenue, zero dollars. All the organization cares about is money. Take away their money.

Love Matthews, but he's not close to Capitan material. We actually don't have a true C in that locker room. Juat look at how nonchalant he was and always is in training camp.. Then look over at Edmonton when McDavid is showing up with the entire team a month early and doing interviews saying, "cup or bust". That's leadership! Matthews has no heart.

How about asking why 34 keeps getting hurt? Why he can't shoot like before? Why say underperform as a "team" but just yell at 88 only, what about yelling at 44, 34 or 16 last year – BTW we know those 3 guys are mentally weak. Why the GM brings in guys the coach can't/don't want to play? What's the plan for '27 because no quality free agent is available? The GM got out of there before I can finish tying….

EVERY G.M. for the leafs has only the responsibility to give out as LITTLE information as possible. Matthews is just away from the team. Poor behaviour from the ‘captain’. M.L.S.E. has continued to ice a NON WINNING FORMULA since the Matthews draft. M.L.S.E makes me sick…

Dubas gave up all the young prospects and draft picks for rental players. I feel bad for Treliving he only had so much to work with last season. You can’t step in and trade marner right away so he tried to make that group deeper and Boston knew the leafs backs were against the wall and fleeced us. Just hope the leafs make playoffs so they don’t end up giving away another great young player as they don’t have a first round pick this year.

Put mathews on the fist line and give him the puck and find a passer who don't what goals but juts to make plays things are tight good players are hard to come by but trading minton that's a fair trade but unexpected forsure
