The whole league know Edmonton doesn’t have any defence or goalies at nhl level. Oilers are a point booster team. They all know it.
Why bother pulling the goalie when you're going to put Bouchard on the ice?? It's an automatic free goal when The Bouch Blunder mishandles the puck.

Skinner is awful to watch is not a good goalie and never will be a no 1 goalie the team don’t trust him in net 3 years and the team don’t know which skinner their getting in net on any given night he plays he can play moderately well or be so awful you don’t even know he’s a goalkeeper , he is consistent at being inconsistent his fish flopping style of mostly on his knees where he’s continuously letting in freebee goals are a continual letdown to the team , Skinner is a backup to a backup at best and needs to be traded for whatever the oilers can get because the more he continues playing the more his value goes down . Skinner needs to be gone away from the team for good because the team has lost all confidence of him in net and has been a liability for quite a while with his unpredictable poor play Skinner is not the answer and that been obvious for 2 years , plain and simple truth is he’s just not good enough and overrated his value to the Oilers and they will never win the Stanley cup with him in net . Get him away from the team and his bad playing habit because it has demoralizes the team . Oilers management you owe skinner nothing move quit stalling and get a proven goalie you owe at least that to the Oiler team and their fans if you don’t the playoffs might seriously be missed

It doesnt look like Skinner is even trying at times, like he's given up before they even score. Slow as molasses side to side and gets beat on screens way too much, its just bad positing when it happens so often. Find the puck! Edmonton could have scored again if not for Logan Thompson finding a way to make some big saves even though he didnt have his best night either. Trade Bouchard or Nurse and Skinner, while they still have value, throw in a winger or 2, a draft pick and get some better
