McDavid is gone in a couple seasons
They werent even good defensively last year in the playoffs. They allowed 4+ goals more than half the time. Only got to the finals because they were able to outscore the shitty defense.
3:11 "The oilers have 11 straight games without a regulation win" this ending fact sounds so absurd with her nonchalant delivery you'd think this was the onion 😂
Get a goalie and find a coach who can teach these goofs how to play D.
0:08 Do the Oilers have major problems? There’s no doubt they do, chief among them putrid defensive awareness.
Tightening up the D will take time. Before you can get them to play better, you have to sell them on the benefits of actually moving instead of just standing around like bumps on logs watching the game unfold around them.
Take the loss and trade then bomber for a pail of pucks.
Good trade, at the puck serve a purpose, and their job well.
I honestly I don’t think Knoblauch has a clue. This guy has used Bouchard on the penalty kill in the past. Your goalies have the worst GAA in the league and Bowman is on record saying he likes his goaltending tandem. If I was McDavid I would start looking at property in South Florida.
Yes the Oilers need to make trades, and very quickly.
So… not goaltending?
