  1. trades are going to happen and big ones this team is falling apart its heart breaking man

  2. He seems more disappointed then his interview after the loss to the Panthers in the finals

  3. Generational talent and this year he is stuck with always the second best goaltending, defence, and offence. No heart and no soul in this team.

  4. Oettinger SV% .880 tonight, fine but not exceptionally good. First period w Skinner just deflated the whole team. I respect that 97 doesnt want to throw his team mate under the bus to the media but behind the scenes I hope no one is deluding themselves about it… Defense wasnt the best either tonight but 4goals 8shots just unacceptable. Skinner has shown what his abilities are, for better and worse, and at this point is management's fault continuing with him, that's definition of insanity do the same thing over and over expecting a different result. So not to defend Skinner but hes not gonna trade himself or spontaneously quit the team, someone else needs to take some action, its time

  5. Watch the NHL long enough and you'll notice that teams that lose in the Finals tend to go on a years long decline before a rebuild it needed. The team is in the decline right now.

  6. What's to say. The team is soft. They puck watch in their own end. Nobody wants to throw the goalies under the bus, but you know they all think can we get a fn save once and awhile. They got rid of half their grit by letting Kane and Perry go. Look what TB did to win back to back. They went out and got grit, size and depth in the bottom 6. The Oilers fu!2ed it up. Letting Mcleod, Holloway and Broberg go was so dumb. You telling me Dylan wouldn't look great with Leon right about now. Broberg with his size and skating ability and Mcleod who skates like the wind and is one of the best 3rd line centers in the league. That dead look in his eyes isn't just him being tired. He knows. You know. This is not heading in the right direction

  7. I feel so bad for Connor but this team is being out worked in the d zone. We have horrible defense. We need to the set tone and this team is on a see saw . We do need major trades but start with the defense first. Nurse, Ekholm, Bouchard… try to get better blue line defenseman and bigger guys who can make the opposing team feel punished. Same for the forwards. Need tougher forwards upfront. Connor Cluttenburg isn’t enough. Bring in Mark Messier as assistant. He led by example as an Oiler. The Oilers need him.

  8. Why always blame the goal tender… He's right about goaltending being a team thing. You can put any Vezina candidate goalie into a crap shoot defense and they'll look like an amateur. Look and Dubnyk, left Edmonton and instantly became Vezina candidate. Talbot was a pretty good goaltender until he came to Edmonton. It doesn't matter who you put in net, fix the defense.

  10. "Goaltending is a team thing. Tough for goalies to look good when the group in front them is not playing well." McDavid is a class act!

  11. Jeus …he looks like he's 40 years old at first he damn sure looks like stress age in the past few years….damn…

  12. McDavid may ask for a trade. Did anyone notice how much he has aged since game 7 of the 2024 Cup Final? Note I said 2024, and not 2025!

  13. Every goal against starts with a lost battle or a gift from our own blue line. Tonight’s “scorers” for Dallas: 1–Bouchard, 2–Bouchard, 3–Kulak, 4–Ekholm/Bouchard, 5–Bouchard, 6–Bouchard, 8–Draisaitl

  14. Great play by the Oilers: they allowed "ONLY" 😜8 goals this time! And that's better than the 9 they allowed against Colorado! Both the goalies and defensemen were equally good! Well done, Oilers!

    Draisaitl ( – 2 ) thanks for goal #8 )😜Ekholm ( – 1 ) thanks for goal # 4 and many thanks to to the rest

Skinner for Binnington !!!!😇 Knoblauch for my grandma !🤪🤪

  15. I think Micdavid signed that low number so he could ask for a trade in case it didn't work out. His number isn't too big for another team's cap and the Oil could get a big return. I think this was his plan all along, option to stay if the team did well or easy to trade with that 12.5 cap number.
