It doesn’t seem like Vancouver has a consistent strategy or direction that they’re willing to travel. It’s disappointing for the city.

Having a spouse who supports your hobbies cannot be underestimated. My husband only watches hockey because he missed me during hockey season. (He does not like the new Stars jersey, but I've been picking out his clothes for him since circa 2014 so his opinions on this issue matter not to me.)

The current Canucks' predicament is like some children's fairy tale:
Once upon a time, there was a hockey team called the Vancouver Canucks, with three great young centres. But the media began to ask them "Which one of these three centres is the top one ?". After being asked over and over again, and the three players liked each other less because of it, the GM got worried and said they must trade one, and since they have three they do not have to worry. Across the land of Hockey, other GM's began to rub their hands and asked for deals. "Don't trade us Horvat", they said, "he plays too tough and works too hard, and he is Canadian (oh no!), so he is the least of the three", and so the Canucks' GM said "aha!" and traded Horvat first.
Then after that the Canucks had two good centres, but the media kept asking "which of these two centres is the top one?" Well, after Horvat was moved, the club made sure Petterson was paid the best; but playing after that, Miller had the most points, so some said he is the best. This debate made Petterson and Miller not like each other very much, and so the GM got worried and said they must trade one, and since they have two, they do not have to really worry. The other GM's said "do not trade us Miller, for he plays too hard and wants to win when it counts most", and so the Canucks GM said "aha!" and traded Miller next.
Then the Canucks GM had just one good centre, and said to him, "well now the question is decided; you are the best we have got, so we no longer have to worry".
Yet Petterson was worried, because now he was blamed by all those fans who liked the other two more. Now he would have to play better than any of the three ever did, but at center he really was all alone.
"Cheer up, it is sad for all of us, but we can get through this", said Quinn Hughes to Petterson. Then the media saw this and began to ask "Who is the best Canucks player now? Who is the top asset they have left?" and the other GM's said "better not give us Hughes because he is unhappy" …

The time this video nearly started at was nearly perfect. I have had extensive dental work this year with multiple appointments (nothing to do with anything serious just i haven't gone in years so they had a lot to do haha) it sucks.
I am pretty convinced we're cooked for the next few years, I also think JR and Allvin are gone this season…don't know when.
Dental work is never fun my sympathies….😮
