Trade away Klingberg
ive been saying that Klingberg is gonna need to be waived and reassigned when no one claims him for a few weeks now.
Moving on from Klingberg.
Pros:
-Open roster spot for Misa.
-Don't have to deal with his defensive miscues.
-Dickinson on PP?
-More ice time for young defenseman (sure they'll make mistakes, but they're still learning).
Cons:
-Still have to pay contract. Which wasn't much iirc.
-Who would want to trade for Klingberg?
-What would we get, a 2028 conditional 7th round pick and a faded ticket stub from a Hartford-Vancouver game in 1993? (Actually, a 2028 conditional 7th round pick might be useful).
Verdict: drop him.
What’s the old adage? Insanity is trying to do the same thing time and time again while expecting a different result…
We did well with Kurachev, Gaudette, Orlov and Reaves in free agency. Skinner has an incomplete grade. Leddy and Klingberg are busts. It happens, so best to cut your losses and move on.
He needs to be gone. He is a lost cause.
Bag of pucks and one extra net, not the set just one.
We dont need an offensive defensiveman. We need a tight defensive defenseman.
I mean they were able to trade Ceci 🤷🏻♂️. It could happen
