Yes is the answer. Kevyn Adams ran the Sabres jr programs, cozied up to Pegula, became his yes man after botterill refused to fire staff during covid so Terry could save money. He’s a joke
The owner in Buffalo hired Adams because he is a personal friend. Adams can't do the job.
These guys have to get ugly mean and start to make a difference. You guys are absolutely right defensively they suck. Can they score yes but need gritty mean dmen that put the fear of God in the opposition!
Their assistant coaches are from 2 head coaches ago. It’s bad enough if it was from the previous head coach. The stink is still in the organization.
Nothing is going to change, Pegula wont let anyone tell him how to run this organization LaFontaine tried that and look what happened. This is the most dysfunctional, unstructured organization in all of sports. Benson 30 games, no goals and is in the top 6 why ? Power is lost. You won't see a head coach like Torts, DeBoer or Gallant behind the bench, you will see Seth Appert because that is a Pegula move all day long.

Everyone has Buffalo on their no trade list because they’re shit. You can bet Edmonton was the same until McDavid showed up. Buffalo proves that high draft picks mean nothing, there’s no salary cap on front office, coaches and scouts. So hire the right people to find players and coach them.
