Fleeced! You'd think if we needed to throw in a high pick and Kulak, it would be for a clear upgrade or the other team was eating money or it would be Pickard instead of Skinner. I do prefer Jarry to Skinner but this is a major roll of the dice considering what we had to give up….
Oilers defense let's down goaltending, & letting go a defenseman who was 2nd or 3rd best on the team. I guess we will wait & see😢
Not the best trade , but it was time for a change . More moves to be made before the deadline for sure

This is a disappointing move. The Oilers need a Top 10 goalie, not another average goalie which is what Skinner is. I can't see Jarry doing any better than Skinner. But we can always hope.

Should have waited until near the trade deadline, then trade Skinner and Bouchard for a real top end goalie. By then Skinner would have better stats and Bouchard would be the top (or near the top) scoring defenseman and therefore much greater trade value than right now.
No one really cares who the Oilers get especially Gary Bettman because every April it is "Passover" for all Canadian Teams especially if they make the finals. The first Canadian team he screwed over was Vancouver in 94. The proof of this is that he will never allow two Canadian teams to ever meet in the finals. So crooked. They should actually change the name of the trophy to "The Bettman loves American teams only Cup". Bettman 31 – Canada ZERO. PROVE ME WRONG PLEASE! I didn't think so – nuff said.

Time for something different is a foolish reason. Jarry is no real improvement. Skinner was fine, he does amazing considering he's had one competent defenceman in front of him.
