It would be nice if Hughes wins the cup with the Wild just as an eff you to the Canucks organization. As a Canucks fan, I'm sick of this management and ownership group and it hope it makes the Canucks as unattractive to players as possible and maybe we can expect a real lasting change.
Hughes might have been the 'nucks best Dman, but there is no way he was their best player ever. Probably the best player since the twins retired, and I'm pretty sure they retired early because of poor management. They had no depth.
I remember when Dumba was on pace for a thirty goal season as a d man. That injury really hurt his career.

8:19 Glad to see Chucky Sideburns back for the Caps. Great guy and a real serviceable goalie. We Blues fans loved him when he played for us, and were happy for him when he got to play more for Washington. He was constrained in STL behind Binnington and Husso at that time. Personally, I would have kept Lindgren and traded Husso at that time.
