The Penguins haven't sucked this hard since 1982. Even the flyers are doing better.
So the coach comes out for his press conference YESTERDAY and talks about what they need to do in the 3rd period when winning by 3 goals..His words were ( we need to do better with our fore check on the boards)The press might of heard him, but HE DIDN'T TELL HIS PLAYERS..
Same situation today, same bullshit outcome..7, goals allowed in the 3RD period..

The pens have some SERIOUS talent in their roster in Silovs and Murashov combined, talent they also had when it came to Jarry too. But I guess it's easier to blame a goalie and be done with it. Goaltending was never the issue here. These talented goalies fight every night out there to keep the team in the game for as long as possible. But when the defense is so lackluster it ends up looking like they're actively sabotaging their own net. No, Skinner will not magically step it and steal you a playoff spot, you already have goalies that can do that, this isn't about goaltending anymore.
