This game was supposed to be another instalment of the Hughes Bowl but turned out to be Buium's impressive Canucks debut. It gives a little hope to the shell-shocked Canucks fanbase.
Yeah, Canucks fans were getting sick of the will he stay or will he go? Drama. Ownership and management is surely to blame, but the fans are kinda like the children in this divorce. They have very little control and the repercussions always affect them the most.
New Jersey and Fitzzy tried to lowball Allvin and the Canucks and then Guerin and the Wild stepped up with the Buium package and the crucial first rounder in this years McKenna draft to get it done.

All the new players looked awesome but the one that impressed me the most was Rossi .I have never seen any of the new players before but you can see instantly just how dangerous Rossi is on offense .He was unlucky in not scoring but he is quick and seems to make the guys on his wings better by creating more space for them.Nice win with the Canucks fighting hard to preserve the win —-all because Demko looked rock solid.The Canucks if healthy would have had 4-5-6 more wins so far this season with that type of goaltending.
