  1. Great interview. Both questions and indepth answers. This interview nailed it on the players and team. Jason you have been through a lot, and have not missed a beat. I hope you feel as good as you look and sound.

God Bless you and your family through the Holiday Season. Enjoy your family. Merry Christmas.

  2. Wow. I wonder if Cutter was in vitcim mood when he asked out. Man I hope MM will be ok because he'll be the next to ask out. He has said all the right things yet media member dont miss a beat to pounce om this guy. Wild

  3. Thank you Jason. Have always loved Brian Boucher both as a player and person. Hope to see him on again soon.

  4. Hi Jason, that was the best interview… especially about Matvei (Boucher)… I think it's about time you did an interview with Matvei… I'm saying you need to ask him the right questions… then he can answer them too… even without an interpreter… Matvei just has to go through with it… even if he has to use his hands and feet! And yes, that would answer many open questions! If anyone can do that, it's you, Jason. During the Olympics, he has to work on his fitness, and then he'll be back on track… damn it, he hasn't forgotten how to play ice hockey! Okay Jason stay healthy and LET'S GO FLYERS 🏒🥅

  5. Great conversation with Boosh, Jason! Loved him as a player and now as a commentator. Keep them up!!

  6. Jason. I think alot of Fans and Media arent telling the truth concerning Matvei Michkov season. I BELIEVE THIS ALL STARTED WHEN HE DIDNT LIKE THE HIRE IN THIS PAST SUMMER. OVER RUSSIA HIS VIDEO TEAM LED BY UGGGS RELEASED A YOUTUBE VIDEO OF MICHKOV DISTAIN FOR THE NEW HC STYLE OF PLAY AND HOW THE DUMP N CHASE IS RIDICULOUS HOCKEY. I THINK THATS WHAT LED MICHKOV TO NOT TRAIN THIS SUMMER LIKE HE NORMALLY WOULD. SHOWED UP TO CAMP OUT OF SHAPE. I THINK DANNY MADE UP ANKLE INJURY TO COVER UP THE DISAGREEMENT W MICHKOV AND THE HIRING OF TOCCHETT. I could be wrong but ive heard nobody address that video outside you. And when theres a concerted effort to not address that video. Usually theres reason its not addressed publicly. I watch everyday but dont send messages but on this i felt i needed to. Love the show.

  7. think he's (michkov) been average, it seemed to me he turns the puck over a lot this year. He is a little bit physical and is skating better. I think he's been progressing a bit more every other game.
I think he's being over coached. Every time I see him on the bench I see either a coach or a player telling him things and he's probably thinking too much. I am not sure maybe the chemistry not there with the guys he's playing with. I don't think he has been bad though, I also think his Ice time reflects what he's been putting out to. Not sure why people are getting upset about. The kids not playing at even a level of Tom Wilson.

    Per ESPN

    Tom Wilson
    TOI/G – 19:35 / G – 17 / A – 15 / +17 / Shots 70

    Matvei Michkov
    TOI/G – 14:41 / G – 8 / A – 9 / -3 / Shots 60

That's a second line or top 6 forward comparison as they are both on a second line right now I believe with 2 teams next to each other in the standings

  8. Michkov is not playing as well as last season, I think Toch is using him to where his ability is now, he needs to be better to earn more ice time and get the trust from the coaching staff.

  9. I love Michkov. I fell into the trap of cheering for the player not the team. Since that debate came up ive shook my head and became a flyer fan again not just a Michkov fan. Now that ive taken that approach I personally don't think Michkov has been playing well. Certainly not the same guy from last year. So im letting myself believe its a sophomore slump and they happen, just ask Bedard. I dont see how you can play him 20 min a game the way hes going right now. Feeding him minutes isnt going to improve him and definitely wont improve the team. I believe he will come back from olympic break a better version, but wont hit his stride again ultimately until next year. Thats my belief anyway, thanks for reading!
