Imo the puck ending up in our net was not entirely on Skinner. It was mainly how poor the defense played in front of him. And it will continue to be the problem going forward unless there's some drastic changes to the D core, or the players start listening and play proper defense. A goalie is only as good as his defense! Best outcome for tonite would be….1 – 0 OT win by the Oilers.
Okay, enough on the trade, get back to asking questions about the current roster.

Losing family in the hive is always tough but deep down self can still thrive to be alive w/ support that keeps going and the ball is ready to roll on court (ice in this case).
We have plenty of talented defensemen, so why go we give up so many breakaways? Panthers always seem to be in right place at the right time. This coach studied under Paul Maurice. He should know how to teach defense!

Its time for the coach to wake up on the bench. Really he stands there like a dummy never a hand to any of the players. All he cares about is if McDavid will win the scoring. And for Zack to take credit for that 1 goal surprise me I have played it and re played it and still thin k it was Leon's he is so close to the 1000 mark you would think the team would do the same for him as they did for Conner. It gets very frustrating by times Nudge should be playing with Draisaitl but no he is with Conner and |ack, showing favor on the team is not difficult to see. Ryan plays much better with Leon they seem to know what each other is going to do. And he plays much better with him. I will have mixed feelings tonight in the game as I really liked Skinner and now to see him play against his old team is going to be difficult.
I am rooting for Jarry and the Oilers this time and every time.
Coach Knobs, give Hutson more ice time so he gets good opportunity to get comfortable and start scoring. The kid is pretty good! Maybe pair him up with Mangiapane and Henrique on the 3rd line.
