I’ve watched many leafs games twice this season and the one clear narrative is the team plays with no passion. Nobody takes the reins during a game and gets them going.

Berube looks burnt out and I can't blame him, this is on the players, he's said his piece and tried every line combo. Clearly, they do not have the talent anymore. Expecting this to change is just pure hope..It's time to blow this team up and retool over the summer.

Nylander turn over on the PP was terrible to start with that's one ! Then Morgan Rielly on the two on one again and again and again plays the shooter who John Travares had !! leaves the open man that forced Travares to suddenly change direction who wasn't close to who was wide open and scored !!!
A minor A AA AAA Rep House League player knows has be taught the goaltender!!! The Goalie takes the shooter !!!thr defenseman plays the middle forcing the shooter to shot or pass the puck which the defenseman is position to intercept ! Block ! And also prevent another pass back !!!
You do not go to the shooter !! You are abandoning your wing man who is the goaltender at that moment!

Let`s be honest – Leafs just got a couple of lucky bounces otherwise it was another luckluster performance! The Black Hawks basically beat themselves by missing their chances to put the game to bed. Despite the win I was disgusted by the way the Leafs played. It`s just not fun to watch this team.
